Alpha Actors was established in 1983 by a group of professional actors who were wanted greater insight into the industry and were keen to have greater autonomy over their careers. Over the last 30 years we have grown into a co-operative agency of 22 actors, currently based at offices in the burgeoning cultural quarter of Gillett Square in east London, alongside Dalston Culture House and the Vortex Jazz Club.
Our membership consists of a broad range of professional actors who have the talent and skills required to cover most of the casting requirements in an ever changing entertainment industry.
Alpha has developed from the early days of type-writers and postage stamps to a modern agency with presence across all digital media, but the central focus of our business remains the same – establishing and maintaining good relations with new and existing casting directors, production companies and theatres to create work for all our actors.
